Nice shotgun he had there, but not a good weapon choice for the enviroment. Didnt see too much urban area. Last place I would want to be with a shotgun is out in the middle of a desert.

Panzer,

He's the guy walking up to speaking distance at a highway check point!! Can't imagine being armed with anything else when approaching a car load of possibly hostile strangers. You can bet there's something else propped up closeby when he's at rest.

Good point - the few Vietnam vets who talk about it tell me, many times they preferred carrying a shotgun.

I thought the video was pretty funny. In a silly way he was being kinda nice to the guy.

Pablo,
I got the guided tour of the back rooms of our Small Arms Museum in town.

Not on the public display were two "riot" guns. Pumps with heat shields. Apparently came back from Vietnam. Illegal for Oz troops to use them, but they reckon that in the tunnels they were all they wanted.

Hey, if you can't have a good time, stay the heck home. People of wit don't take a time out for anything. I say marine would just as easily cut them in two and (probably) say "&&$#)@ -em if they can't take a joke

". I imagine myself being even more "sincere" in my appeal for the taxi driver's help in this matter.
