Manual Trans, Drain when hot or cold?

Maybe this is a silly question.

I have a manual trans that uses ATF. I ran autorx thru it using the correct application for a manual. Now I'm ready to switch it to some MTFGlide

Should I drain the old stuff when hot or cold or does it matter.

The fluid will flow better and probably have more contaminates in suspension if it's at operating temperature when you drain it.

Otherwise it's more a matter of convenience.

That makes sense. It probably takes the trans longer to get up to temp than the engine.

You can also push a little trans oil through to flush it out, and that probably works better with the transmission is warm.
