On the last 2 oil changes I started doing my own oil changes and found small metal shavings in the oil filter. Engine runs fine. No oil consumption. This time they are much less than the previous oil change. Both oil changes were done at 6000km. What do you think?

Mobil1 ESP 5w30 for the last 6000km
Before that I used MB original 229.51

I refilled again with Mobil1 on this oil change

Does it have the MB approval on the label? I can't remember if yes or no, but if it doesn't change it to one that has it as soon as possible.
My experience with MB is to use their specs as closely as possible.

Those few small flakes in the filter isn't anything to worry about.

Yes it has the latest mb 229.52 for gasolone and diesel engines with adblue injection
