Manifold Bolt and Spring

Wanted to order this part as a replacement (non OEM) for my Corolla (fun car to work on).

I was wondering as to why there is no "nut" for the end of these bolts, just a spring. Here's a link:

If I do need a nut, what size will do? Is this a "trial and error" type of thing? Thanks in advance.

no nut. you will need the correct size tap to clean the threads either in the head or manifold. Best to leave it alone until necessary unless real new

Good luck, in Canada with all the salt you will need it. If it breaks get left hand drill bits center perfectly,
