No problem. Sometimes it's good to state the obvious even if it's only for comic relief.

Lol well I've got along very well thus far even being the under educated hick I am. Maybe I should look up those English teachers that beat their heads on their desk in Jr. High cuz of me and see if they need to borrow some money. I understand their probably in need of it.

Thanks. For the welcome Triton

Here's one of mag1s full synthetic dexos msds. They have several full synthetic msds's and semi syn ones. Only the ones to dexos specs say dexos on the msds. They would have a possibility of a legal matter if not. So I think the 2 for mentioned supertech products are most likely the same as wpp flagship product. Otherwise those supertech msds would just say SuperTech Full Synthetic.

are you assuming there is only one formula that can be DEXOS certified? Otherwise, nothing you are saying makes any sense.

Let me help clarify:

Mag 1 oils with Dexos [1] cert:

Mag 1 Full Synthetic 0w-20, 5w-20, and 5w30.

SuperTech oils with Dexos [1] cert:

SuperTech 5w-20, and 5w30.

Secondly, it seems most SuperTech oils are mostly now CITGO made, with some possibly remaining WNE made.

I don't see Dexos listed there... but yet, GM's Dexos list says that SuperTech is Dexos certified...

As far as finding an sds/msds for the WNE Warren made oil (not WPP), I can't find any that specifies that it is SuperTech.

So, I'm willing to bet that the only SuperTech oils with Dexos cert are made by WPP.

Which, begs the question: Is WPP SuperTech the same as Mag 1? Or, is it a little different, yet still close enough to maintain Dexos cert? I don't know.

Ive seen nothing thats indicates wne makes any supertech products myself.

You can find msds sheets on msds.walmartstores.com/
there you can see that wpp, Citgo and delphon all make supertech oil. Wpp and Amalie make atfs.
I had to actually tpye the UPC from product in hand to find the delphin msds. In Texas they make a lot of the Dino.

I agree that probably only the wpp supertech is to dexos cert.
