I typed "Macs are for" in the Google search engine and these are the first results. Try it it should work for you too.

Lol

By definition, this says more about the people typing in the search than it says about Macs or Mac users. Just sayin'.

That's actually a pretty fair assessment IMO.

I'm not a fan of the company, either.

What does that have to do with the quality of their products, or the character of their customers?

Tracking cookies aren't on Mac or Linux? Since when?

The auto complete is hilarious for Google. Try entering a politicians name followed by "is a", and see what comes up! Do it for Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga is a ..................man

Everything? I don't like them because their products are weak, and expensive. And it has to do with the character of people because they (used to at least) believe paying 3X as much for a Mac was actually a smart investment. For what.. Inferior performance? The reason they went X86 for their computers is because their hardware was [censored]! I remember once having some Mac hardware support come in where I used to work, because no one there knew anything about them, and they were charging $199 for a 512MB stick of RAM which I could get (exact same Kingston part#!) through my parts supplier for $62. That is just how they used to be.

At least lately I've seen comparisons, they are a lot more reasonable. But since the G4/5 days I can't really shake the whole thought of Apple in general. It's like paying $50k for an economy car with a leather and woograin interior.

Ease of use. Design. Specific apps that run better or that they like better. Interoperability with certain peripherals.

Not stuff that you and I care about, obviously. We want our machines to run, not look pretty, and we can make our peripherals work just fine on our own. But that doesn't make us right and them wrong. It's a difference of priorities.

False. It was economy-of-scale. The PowerPC architecture was to expensive to continue to develop and keep competitive when Intel was churning out such a huge number of x86 chips for the same market.

In fact, most people I know -- including die-hard PC fans -- think that the most compelling reason to buy a Mac died when they went x86.

In other words, you know your opinion is outdated and possibly flat-out wrong, but you make a conscious decision to keep insisting anyway?

I know you're better than that.
