i havn't tried daz bog but have been to hawaii maybee a dozen times and have had the macadamia and dont care for it too much, im not into the flavoured coffees. ive had the lions in the mac, choc, vanilla, etc but i like the regular dark roast or espresso roast the bestest.

Different brands may make it difference. Lions is junk as I've seen the beans they use, old and stale. I would think they go cheap also with the flavoring. In fact, they use the flavoring to cover up their old stale beans.

Best non 100% Kona coffee is the Hilo Coffee Mill. Just a notch below 100% Kona coffee. Great tasting coffee. They don't import cheap coffee beans.

Why spoil coffee by adding flavors to it?

Is there a woman in your life?...if not then that explains the above comment...I am gonna try it tommorrow morning and let you guys know...it was kinda fun watching wifey grind the beans at the supermarket...it's not just us guys who love powertools!...

Well, women wear different underwear than I do. That's not reason enough for me to use their's.

I'm with the no-flavorings crowd. I like the different flavors that you get by trying various varietals. Ethiopian beans are my faves.

Just tried the coffee. Terrible. Would much rather have, I dunno...Folger's or Maxwell House. To me it had a chocolatey aftertaste. Okay, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either.

As for my comment about a woman being the primary factor in the purchase of this coffee...my wife, mom, and sisters are all into flavored coffee. I believe women are twice as likely to buy this stuff. That's all I meant by that. I nor none of my buddies are into flavored coffee.

Also, as for the wise guy riddle. If that is not good enough reason for you to wear women's underwear, then why are you wearing it? That's what you seem to imply...nothing against cross-dressers but the topic is coffee. Not women's clothing.

Yup flavored coffees are popular and consumers like that exotic flavor thing.

What I saw at Lion's was they brought in a couple of tons of low grade, must have been old Columbian coffee. I know it was Columbian because it was labelled and was lettered. Must have been some kind of grading thing. The beans look old and stale. Geeze I wanted to puke, just staring what's behind closes doors. They would use these beans and 10% Kona for the flavored coffee. More times or not, really strong flavored coffee is masking the coffee probably old beans as they buy in big bulk. Can't say about all companies but it's what I saw.

I tried the Hilo Coffee Mill about 3 years ago. Coffee is really smooth with no bitter taste. Their 10% Kona is the best I've had for 10% Kona coffee. Their flavored coffee is really light, kind of like for those they use sugar and cream there is no need for it, just enjoy the coffee flavor. Makes you want to drink another cup.
