Here is the latest UOA. There was a lot of idle time and bumper-to-bumper NJ/NYC traffic.

First sample was M1 FS 0W-40 after unknown 0W-20. Second sample is ESP X3. Third sample is ESP X4. Interesting that the ESP X4 has almost the same levels of ZDDP as the FS now.

Thanks for sharing. The X3/X4 maintained its viscosity better. Oxidation hasn't moved from virgin. Mobil likes to use the same moly amounts in most of their grades. X3/X4 show signs of an ester as well. Higher TBN of the 0w40 FS is likely due to the Mg. That's where HPL gets its high TBN retention from.

Looks like there is some carry over on your x3 results. Were you using FS before the X3 sample?
Here's a VOA on the x3 that @53' Stude did. The x4 seems to look very similar to the x3. I have another x4 VOA post coming in a couple of days as well. @wings&wheels tested the x4 as well the other day.

Yes the first sample was FS

Looks good. 40w very thick. Could you run a 30W?
