COMMENTS: You ran this oil nearly 6000 miles and the engine did not even notice the longer oil change. We did find a trace of fuel dilution, which is common in engines that see a lot city driving. We do not consider it a problem until it reads above 2.0%. The TBN read 3.3, still active additive remaining. Looks like a great engine. Running 6500 miles would be okay too.

Any comments would be helpful. What do you guys think of the high Iron?

Thanks!

Paul

The "high Fe" is a signature of Mobil 1, nothing to worry about.
Everything looks good. What filter are you running?

My mom is leasing a Pilot right now. Great engine, plenty of power for a 4200lb vehicle!

Welcome to the site by the way

In my last five OCs with M1, I have been finding high Iron readings. Both in my new Element and my 2001 Dodge 4.7. You mention the signature? What do you mean by this? I'm going to stop using M1 as I am concerned about from where the Iron is appearing. Any thoughts as to why the M1 is showing high Iron?
