Lug nut wont come off, highly deformed.

I don't think the guys at the tire shops care. I had to throw away the set of locks that were on my car when I got it, because the garage ppl both at the dealer and the local tire shop all used impact wrenches on them.

My key doesn't say anything on it. I was always careful with them, Other people however don't seem to care like you said. Now... if i could only get the **** thing out of my socket

Wheel Studs and Nuts are relatively cheap.

I say have them use the shop cutting tool and break them off.

Just get OE replacements and make sure they are appropriately safety rated to the right PSI strength.

It should be no more than 7.00$ for a new stud and bolt.

If they do, I'll make them buy me a new set of wheel locks. The local tire shops owes me big because of the way I've been treated these last two times I tried to get tires. Thank God they fired the guy who i hate.

Hammer a tight impact socket on there real good, and it will probably just come right off.

Yeah that's what we always used to do, was get the next size down of impact socket and just pound it on there.

To get eh nut out of the socket,

Assuming it's a 1/2" socket, get a 3/8" extension, put the socket in a vise, and pound the lug nut from behind through the 1/2" hole.

you can also use a screwdriver, or whatever elsee will fit through the 1/2" square and gain puchase on the lug nut.

I had this same problem (caused by myself) on my GMC. I have aluminum rims for it with recessed lugs, but long chrome lugnuts and locking lugs. And while using an impact gun (stupid me) broke the key. Did the same as you, but got two of the four off by hammer and chisel, pipe wrench, etc. The other two only rounded and kept giving me grief. I used a nut cracker to break them in half. The nut cracker looks like a huge cast iron set of pliers, with a large screw that does the clamping betwen the jaws. The jaws have spades on each side shaped like chisel ends, and when clamped down, forcefully split whatever is clamped in the jaws. Worked great!
