Agree 100%. Our Mid Range RWD Model 3 was a ton of money.I really like to see such impressive cars. However, the EV world has pushed automotive prices into absurdity. I can't think of a way to afford a Plaid, not to mention this. I can afford an Altima, which will go 650 miles at 90-93mph, and do so with very comfortable seats. Someone here called the Altima a penalty box. I disagree. It's a wonderful long distance car and at $25,000 it's 10% the cost of a Sapphire, it's not only more range-capable on the highway than the Sapphire it's faster on cross country trips. Speed is a luxury all it's own. That's why we fly.
Me neither. And for $250K? My chump change Model 3 is as "get it" as I get.Apparently I'm the only one that doesn't "get it" when it comes to the Lucid Air.
Everyone rants and raves about them, but I just don't understand the appeal.
I was about to say it looks like a Dodge / Chrysler.Looks a little like a Dodge Cirrus.
Upsidedown bathtub. And not in a good way like the Poreche 356. The new Buick.I was about to say it looks like a Dodge / Chrysler.
I believe the Lucid Air uses the 2170 batteries, just like your Model 3. 6,600 total type 2170 cells. The Model 3 long range (not sure about the performance) is said to have 4416 cells. So for 5x the cost of a model 3, you get 50% more cells, of the very same type. UmmmMe neither. And for $250K? My chump change Model 3 is as "get it" as I get.
There is one running around here; I see it every so often.
I love letting others take a spin our Tesla. Especially when they are afraid to drive it! I tell 'em to give it some throttle and the look on their face is totally worth the price of admission. Double that for AP... Just might be change your underwear time... Fun times for sure.I believe the Lucid Air uses the 2170 batteries, just like your Model 3. 6,600 total type 2170 cells.
