LUCAS fuel treatment?

Hey all, I am new to this site, and have a 1997 PowerStroke. I recently got a good deal on several quart jugs of Lucas fuel additive, and was wondering if this is a good lube for my diesel, or if it will hurt anything. I do not like the harsh smell of Power Servie, but would still like to add some lubricity back to the ULSD. I know about FP and Stanadyne, but both are expensive here. What say you experts on this? Thanks for the info, and what a cool site with lots of knowledge!!!

GMorg, thanks for the welcome. I had read this thread before posting my question. Number one for me was that I did not see anybody saying anything about running it indiesel applications, and two, saw the post on creating deposits, and never saw the info to go with that one, so I fugured I would ask point blank about diesel apps. Thanks again for the info. Anyone running a diesel had experience with Lucas, good or bad? Thanks in advance.

Check with a truck stop in your area there and talk with some of the staff and truckers and they can shed some light on the subject I am sure.
