Also known as Lubegard Gear Fluid Supplement. I was doing a little Spring cleaning and found myself a sealed bottle of the stuff (and took a couple of pictures). Dad must of obtained it several years ago and forgot about it.

For those who've used this product, what is your takeaway from it? Would you recommend this gear oil supplement? I'm a big fan of Lubegard Red, due to it's very real benefits in an automatic transmission and thus comes comes my inquiry. I'm about to do a rear differential oil change for Dad's 1998 S10 pickup and was wondering if I should use the Yellow bottle, or should I skip it.

I would agree with this statement except "then maybe". And add, yes use the product.

I've used it with even top shelf, 'boutique' synthetics (Red Line, Amsoil SG, L.A.T., etc.) and noticed no difference whatsoever.

But this does NOT mean it did nothing since I've never done a used oil analysis on these changes.
