LS460 Horn is Sad and Non-Threatening. Direct Fit Upgrades?

Horn is a bit of a joke in the decibel and tone department.

While I prefer a train horn upgrade, I don't think there is much room for the requisite air compressor.

Are there direct fit options that exist that would give me a horn that actually light a fire under the arse of the person at whom I am honking?

Toyota truck horn perhaps? That's gotta be a variant of the same I engine.

My Tundra horn is weak and non-threatening. Sounds like a Corolla...I'd go aftermarket...

Figured. Likely the same horn.

Are you on the VS FB page? I like your Volvo collection. I've had 9 Volvo and and 1 Saab in the past 15 years.

Ahh..yes. I've heard them. Common perhaps but not necessarily wise or welcome upgrade.


Wisdom is relative to intent, and the one descriptor I do not want of my horn is that of "welcoming".
 
Look at the hella horn line. Also verify wiring. A friend's matrix horn wouldn't even hold tone because the wiring was minimal.
 
Talk about non threatening, my Pilot's horn sounds like a moose with a head cold.
 
My 240 horns are weak. I'm going to wire a second horn in series.
