Well, I can tell you who it isn't. It's not Tire Rack/Discount Tire.
About 90% of the recommended installers 'in my area' are Pep-Boys, and there's about 3 Discount Tire stores almost in the same locations as the PB's and none of those are on the list.
I guess they figure having a web presence is enough to sell tires. I don't see it, but I'm sure they put some thought into it.

Digging into the website, it appears that the service is powered by Treadsy.com, which seems to be an App. rebranding of the Tirebuyer.com tire wholesaler. From a quick search, it appears that Lowes tires is only offering Continental, General and Ironman branded tires at this time.

Yep, comparing the installer list in my area, I'd say you're spot on.
Interesting, Tirebuyer.com is partially owned by ATD (American Tire Distributors)
Listing tires online and employing a drop shipper (if that's the correct word) in order to pick off a few tire sales -and possibly discover a good sales outlet- likely doesn't require huge effort.
They tried and failed. Good to know your limitations.

For me, it says "Our service is not available in your area" and then returns me to Lowes.com
lowes is the pits. no cashiers open, literally 0. they make people use the self checkouts that dont take cash.

At Lowe’s last week. Ordering a full pallet of mulch. The young man working in the outdoor section stocking some mulch asked if he could help me. I asked him if I needed to go to customer service or the cash register to order the mulch delivery. He said, “I don’t know I’m new.” That’s it. Nothing else. No suggestions. Why ask if all you got is I’m new.

People that work and have busy lives are on a tight time schedule with work and home life. You could always quit that really demanding job and go play video games in mom’s basement all day.
