well I got tired of my old mini grease gun,,what are the thoughts out there on lower price pistol grease gun, will use seldom, around 35 dollars or less, looking at performance tool w54204 or the aluminum w 54291,or looked at lumax lx-1153, harbor freight holt ,something other than amazon ,seems like there are a lot of rebranding (same grease gun different label) among brands.

I have a PT from NAPA. It's about 15 years old and probably somewhere around 30 tubes. It's fine.
I'd never buy another one because I know that there's 50 used lincolns for sale at the swap meet for a few bucks.

I have a Holt, its not particularly impressive, but its loaded with a grease that the tube will probably outlast me, so i saw no reason to spend big on it...
I purchased a jegs on sale awhile back for sub-15 bucks. Use it on mowers, ball joints, etc. Does leak some but may be the grease. I have 2 of the blue lincolns from amazon with specialty grease for the dyno and another lincoln at my parents garage. I have upgraded the dyno guns to the lube-lock fittings.
Get the lever. Pistol has less pressure.
