They make good pastries too.

And their bacon is to the UK like Canadian bacon is to the US.

I was shopping with similar aspirations as you once. If you can find a HF that will meet your needs at the right price, then by all means buy it. Even if it breaks in a year or two, you can afford to replace it.

I bought the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ jack solely for an S2000. It will reach the front jack point (no other will without some helpers), lift 2800 lbs (exact weight of S2000), lift 30" in the air, and is of the highest quality construction in the world. But if I could have found another jack with simlilar features at a better price, I would have bought one.

I also bought the jack stands from Pelican parts. They are outstanding for my other vehicles as well.
 
I have the HF jack you've got and like it very much. The foot lever comes in very handy to get the car up some so you can then use the handle if your lifting point is far back. The only way this jack could be better is if the saddle was a little bigger. Have you tried driving your car onto ramps and then jacking it on up from there??
