That way , we can tell if there actually is a problem that needs to be addressed here or not.

Curious how the Redline 5w-40 stacks up against the Amsoil HDD 5w30? Especially under 10k intervals?

First Red Line 5W-40 which is effectively a 50wt oil would be WAY heavier than necessary. Even Red Line 5w30 is heavier than HDD and Mobil 1 0W-40. In a Red Line oil I'd suggest their 0w30 if your oil temp's don't get above 120C.

Not sure what my oil temp is, but coolant temp is around 90c. I'm guessing oil will be about 20 degrees or less higher.

But you do have an oil pressure gauge installed I hope?
If you can maintain 55 psi hot then the oil is not too light and you never want to be in by-pass mode when the coolant is up to temp' as the oil is then too heavy or thick.

Red Line 5w30 or Mobil 1 0w40.
With the high valve spring load and cam lift, the higher anti-wear additive of these two oils couldn't hurt, even if you do have a roller cam.

You definitely need to figure out why you have a tick, and be sure that your pushrod length is correct.

Unfortunately my model year doesn't have a pressure gauge and I haven't installed one. I may be able to obtain it with either Rev2 or DashCommand, but I would have to look.

Yep, I know. I will have to take the cover off the heads and measure to make sure. I currently have 7.300" 7.325" were too big. I suspect I need 7.275", but that seems aweful short and it's special order. Find it hard to believe it would take that short of a pushrod. Only way to know is to measure though.

Then get one installed; they're not expensive.
It really is manditory for any modified engine for a number of reasons and it is virtually impossible to choose the correct oil viscosity without one.
With cool oil temp's of 90C it is very likely that your oil pump will be in by-pass mode at elevated rev's most of the time running the very much heavier than spec' HDD which is counter-productive to what you want to acheive in running a heavier than spec' oil.

Besides, the Red Line 5W-40 has a reduced additive package vs. the rest of their line (except for the 15w40).
Their 0w30 should be great (as suggested by CATERHAM above), or, IF you are hot-lapping, in the middle of a brutal summer, the max thickest oil I would go to on a stock bottom ended L76, is the Red Line 0W-40.

The L76 DoDs were slushbox (6L40E) only, correct? What stall/stall ratio are you running? Is the trans built/modded at all?

That being a CAN BUS ECM system it probably does report the oil pressure (and maybe even the oil temp) PIDs to the ECM, and therefore will read on the Rev 2/Dash Command apps.
Sadly, my 2000 is NOT CAN BUS, and does not report those PIDs, so my Dash Command will NOT read those parameters. (But it IS great for; fuel trims, ACCURATE coolant temp, timing, MAF/MAP readings, IAT readings, code readings and clearing, etc.

For some reason Dash Command doesn't report my trans temps, but I can get that through the cars engineering mode screen. I see many PIDS that I would like to use, but they sadly don't report everything.

6L80E's, same as Camaro. Luckily since the Camaro's DNA was derived from the G8/Commodore platform, there's a ton of parts that are easily swapped. I have the Camaro Brembo's on all 4 corners as well as the Camaro 3.27 diff/gears
