wet okole is also hugely popular. for every 100 comments I read on them, maybe 1 or 2 were negative. However, they are neoprene covered with a fabric. They are "real" neoprene, like wetsuit material. Many different fabrics to choose from, from basic cotton to denim to cordura nylon to faux leather. There's even a neosupreme, wich is a slimmer, pseudo neoprene. It's all in what you like the look and feel of.
The two big names I found in "mass produced" covers are Coverking and Caltrend. Even these covers are made to order. Both make custom tailored seat covers based on original seat patters, 3D imaging, etc. Haven't seen any in person yet, but the photographs all over the internet show a nice fitting product.
We chose the faux leather seat covers from Caltrend because 1-we wanted the leather 'look' 2-easy to clean 3-good comments from what I could find 4-caltrend has a 2 year warranty. Bought them for $212 delivered from autoanything. Will post up pics after they are installed if you can wait a few weeks.
in a nutshell, universal covers from wally or parts stores are usually under $50, custom made seats from a recognized company are $150-$250 depending on material, and full on leather start around $400 on the cheap end and go up from there.
Yeah I would really appreciate pics! I am considering coverking, they are more in my price range. I was looking at the Mesh or Neo Supreme options, hoping they fit like a glove!
