Look what Valvoline sent me!

Last week I saw the post on BITOG about the user that "The Critic" got, and decided to try and get some from Pennzoil and Valvoline, the two main oils that I use.

Keep in mind, Valvoline does not have a Canadian website, so I sent a request in their "Contact Us" forum on the American website. I can't find the exact wording I used in the form, but I managed to cram my Canadian address and postal code in the zip code field, and basically said that I had been using MaxLife for a long time, and is a great product, and was wondering if I could get some oil change stickers.

Today, got a letter from Ashland.

Inside, 24 Valvoline Oil Change stickers.

Printed in Canada too. I wonder why someone used a felt marker to block out the "Next Service" words? These are probably meant for the oil change places.

I'm surprised that Valvoline got them out so fast. First, I emailed their American division, they figured out how to forward it to the Canadian offices, someone handwrites the envelope and it goes to the post office. All in about a week.

Still waiting for the oil change stickers from Pennzoil, and they have a special email address for that one.

Good job Valvoline for customer service!

Awesome! I sent an email to Castrol about a week ago. They said they will send me some. Still eagerly waiting

Yes, awesome it is. It sure beats those little tiny things that come on the 5L jugs from Walmart. Most of the time, those little stickers have fallen off and disappeared before I buy the jug.

Johnny, I was beginning to wonder if they don't accept Canadian submissions on their American website, because on Pennzoil's Canadian website, they only list a phone number for oil change stickers, and I haven't tried calling it yet.

Its too bad, I drove down to Bellingham to get some Pennzoil Ultra last week (because we're probably not getting Ultra until at least May now), and it will be the next oil change in my Stratus. It would be nice to have some Ultra themed oil change stickers to go with it!

the email that I got from RP said to expect a package. Must have sent a truckload!

Hmmm...I got about 30 from Pennzoil a little over a year ago. Sent from Communication Graphics Inc Broken Arrow, OK.

Really? Mobil sent me a bunch of M1 oil change stickers about 4-5 days after I submitted a request on their website.

I wish they made non-M1 stickers, like ones for Mobil Clean 5000, etc. Can't complain, though.

/still has about 490 Pennzoil stickers on a roll I bought for $12, though...

Got my two yesterday,Purolator cheapened out i asked for company logo stickers also, i guess that didn't have any.

also got the M1, boy they know how to send sticker packages,go Mobil!

2nd time I sent a request to Valvoline, when I hit submit the page refreshes and shows the form again. Is that normal? Using Firefox.

Got mine from Castrol today

. Only got six reminder stickers, wth lol. Ehh more than what i had and it didn't cost me anything.
