Maybe I should have asked before I ordered this. The reviews on Amazon are very good for this guage , anyone here own one ? I have a couple tire pressure gauges but I was looking for one that had a hose thinking it might get into my motorcycles valves easier .

I have the 52003 which I think is the same except I wanted the one that held the reading after you remove it from the valve stem.

I bought it because the other two gauges I have always read 2-3 pounds difference so I wanted to see which one was correct. After I ordered it I started thinking what if all three read different, but when I got it and tested them it matched one I after several tests. One at 50 psi on my truck tires, 32 psi on my car tires and 15 psi on snowblower tires so both are accurate over the entire range.

In case your interested the one it matched is the cheaper one I been using.

I`ve heard good things about that cheaper one and they get great reviews also . I have a couple gauges that work fine but on my motorcycle the rotors get in the way and I`m hoping that the hose type guage that I`m buying the "Longacre"will reach in there ok . I don`t remember if it was Amazon or not but it was the 3rd largest selling guage bought .

Just came in the mail , it seems to be well constructed . I think it will be ok for reaching into get to my Road Star tire valves .

This has been on my list of things to buy for a while. I wish there was a LARGE FONT one so i can get one for my father.

love the bleed and release option, that might be a substitute for the large font as you can bring it up to your face and see the reading.

That's exactly why I have to have one that holds the reading. The other one I have is similar to the one oldmoparguy1 has I got a AAP and it worked great for years but all of a sudden it quit be consistent.

I have a Longacre digital tire gauge and they are very well made and work great. You can't go wrong with a Longacre gauge.

I use mine on my motorcycle and works great with the hose. You will want to change to the brass head chuck it should come with from the chrome one. The brass head chuck is like a normal tire chuck while the chrome one that comes on the hose I could never get to fit the valve stems.

I tried the brass head chuck the one that comes on it on the front wheel and it worked fine. I didn`t try the back wheel yet because the bike would need to be moved to bring the valve into position and it was a bad weather day . I will say the traditional chuck that you mention looks like it might help reach in even better. The one that comes installed on it seems like a sturdy fit though .I will probably leave that on unless I have issues.

I bit the bullet, and bought an Astro 3018 digital tire inflator from Amazon. I can fill and release air from the tires, or I can use it just for gauging tire pressure. Saves me a lot of time now when gauging and filling 20 tires. My old eyes can see it easily without reading glasses. The negative reviews about battery replacement are of no concern now because the latest model has a re-designed battery replacement that is simple.
