Load-Range E tires

I wouldn't want anything BUT load range E tires on my trucks. I install them on my suburban even though they aren't standard issue. They more stout build quality and often better wear abilities meant for HD work ensures you have a tire that is up to most anything that you can through at it.

My brother cheapened and go some P-rated tires and they wore, handled and rode way below our expectations.

On a 3/4 or 1 ton van/truck/suv I wouldn't want anything LESS than E. They're going to feel "mushy" and definitely will wear odd if there's any weight in the vehicle.

Yup, that's what my '00 GMC 3500 weighed empty-but there was a LOT more weight on the front axle (engine & transmission) than the rear. My '93 3500 pickup actually needs weight in the back to get traction-otherwise the single track rear axle w/the powerhouse 6.2 actually breaks loose easily (LOL!)

Absolutely. I have never owned any pickup that didn't suffer this malady except my 09 2500HD 4 door. It's wheelbase is huge and it seems to help the weight distribution a bit.

Our vans are loaded up with aftermarket equipment and can carry HUNDREDS of gallons of water, so they have plenty of weight on all 4 wheels!
