Hi,
the HC7 oil is a hydrocracked oil (groupIII???) in 5W40 flavour. I'm looking for a good oil in my high mileage 200K miles Volvo engine (non turbo) for Switzerland so I've been recommended to go with 5W oils (currently running Mobil Super S 10W40 with some tappet noise in winter when cold).
The Liqui-Moly HC7 5W40 tech sheet is here:

Is a hydrocracked oil easier on seals (detergency) in high mileage engines compared to full synthetic oils such as Mobil 1 5W40 (not Delvac)? Do you think the HC7 oil is appropriate for 15'000km (9000miles) OCI in my normally aspirated 2.0L Volvo engine?
Thanks
