Syphoned about 4 qts out of my 2005 Chevy 4L60E transmission. Worked well right out of the box. Has graduated lines to let you know how much oil/fluid you extract so you'll know how much fresh to put back in. Makes dropping the pan alot less messy. Just for grins and giggles I will use it the next time I change my engine oil. Mine was $50.00 shipped from the Liquivac site. Nice little tool.

I noticed the same even if you are doing a pan drop

removing the fluid first makes it much much less messy.

I have the same one. It gets used quite a bit. Boat oil changes, atf canges on 4 vehicles. Just used it yesterday on snowblower and log splitter oil changes. So easy to use!
