I just added 150 ml to my recently changed Subaru Forester XT motor oil with 0W-40 Mobil 1. I will run it about 6K miles. About June '25

It's like German castrol and Belgian castrol, this is made in Belgium.

One forum member used it in a 1993 Honda Civic that ended up with about 649,000 miles on the original engine ...did it help? Good maintenance and those series of engines last a long time on their own.
However, it doesn't appear to have hurt. I don't recall off hand how long they used the LM MoS2, but it did see Amsoil SS most it's life (over 500k miles on Amsoil from low 100k to 649k).
That said, maybe the Amsoil and engine were a great pairing and would've lasted as far or even beyond without using the additive? There's just no way to know what the MoS2 did to the chemisry in a net positive or negative way. Enough to matter? That's the question here. I don't think it necessarily "hurt" though. So, I get why some think "why not?" and toss in half a can etc. but if I'm using a boutique oil like Amsoil it really seems overkill and trying to fix something that isn't broken. Cheapest oil I can find? I might add some if it had no form of moly at all as it's more likely a very low quality "good enough for cheap" oil.

Why??? I traded the car it for a new 21 HRV....
This Liqui Moly works very well. I was having the variable timing actuator rattle at cold start up on my 2015 Honda CRV. It eliminated that problem noise. The proper way to fix it would have been to replace the actuator, to have it probably show up again in another 60,000 miles. As far as the other benefits, it made my engine run quieter somehow. According to the Liqui Moly phone tech guy it takes their MoS2 additive around 400 miles or so at full operating temperature to work itself into the engine components to get the full benefits. I realize the can says, "immediate results", I think that part is a lie. The stuff works great for what it is. I will always use it in my vehicles. Take Care.

I used a can of this Liqui Moly Mos2 you are talking about on my 2015 Honda CRV that started to have VVT actuator clatter at cold start up when the CRV got about 60,000 miles on it. That engine is known for this issue. Anyhow, the Mos2 saved me a few hundred dollars because it eliminated the problem. It goes in everything I own every time I change my oil. 1 can per 4-5 quarts of oil. Just follow the directions. It won't hurt anything. After 4 to 5 hundred miles, it starts to build a film of Moly boundary wear protection on your internal engine parts. That is what Stephen, a Liqui Moly tech guy told me. I am a believer, I use it, it works. As I said, it saved me a few hundred bucks the first time I ever used it.

MoS2 is great stuff.
I don’t understand the hate it gets here. I’ve seen the fuel economy improvements, I’ve felt how easily a crank will spin over in the bottom end of an engine that had been using it, and I’ve seen it make a horrible sounding Subaru sound perfect.
I put the stuff in my mower, my air compressors, my generators, and my own cars. I’ve never had a lubrication failure on any of it.

Well, I agree. Save me a few hundred bucks once, I have since used it in everything.
Put some in your favorite beverage, the lame will walk and the blind shall see, it even works great as a laxative or hot oil enema.
