I wouldn't get your panties too twisted over any of this. It's nothing but a few progressive liberal banks, "making a statement". The bottom line is if there is money to be made in the legitimate loan market, banks will give out loans for it. As always money talks and B.S. walks.

Hell, I remember many years back The Bank Of Boulder, (Colorado), was giving out brand new Weatherby Mark V rifles as "interest payments" for CD's. Caliber and style was determined by the deposit amount and length of term. Larger depositors could add scopes and mounts, leather cases and accessories.

Many of them are networked and have significant cash on hand …
