Michelin Pilot Sport tires not made in size 185/60 R15 (or 195 either) for 2013 Fiesta SE. Is there another brand that would be somewhat similar? Discount tire salesman tried to tell me the Michelin defender gave the same performance - yeah right! All weather Michelins are trouble free and last a long time, but have poor try pavement traction about half way through their wear.

I'm not seeing any summer/performance tires in this size. What tires are you running now?
Bfg sport comp2, I run 195/55r15 on the ford. Not the quietest tire made, but reasonable and I commute on them with no complaints. Michelin owns bfg as well. Fire hawks come in 16" for $88 so you might find a set of 16" rims for the price difference.
Those two have most grip/$ until you get into the autocross special tires, but those aren't so streetable

Hankook 185/60 R15 EDGE A/S - That's what came on the car from the factory.
Go to Tire Rack's website and read the reviews on your size tires. That's what I do, always did the trick for me!
Nothing in either of those sizes. Your problem is both a narrow tread width and a 15" wheel diameter.

Also, the BFG Sport Comp-2 is available in the size 195/55-15
There may be more summer tire options if you can get tires from Mexico.

There's nothing similar to the Pilot Sport in those sizes, unfortunately.
If you're looking for dry grip and handling, the Dunlop Direzza ZIII just came out, and you can get it in 195/55R15. That tire is going to be a lot noisier, rougher riding, and shorter-lived than a Pilot Sport. It also won't be as good on a wet road or when cold. But it should grip even harder on a dry road when it's warm. That's probably as close as you'll come.

Not going to find a performance summer tire in a 60 series. Bump up to 17's and find tires that fit that. Or mentioned by doodfood, go to a 195/55. The ZIII are much grippier than the Super Sport, but will also only last 1/3 the mileage.

You do have to watch that you don't put the car onto its roof as well... Unlowered Fiesta's don't meet the CoG spec for scca autocross, and even the ST version has been known to go up on two wheels with BFG Rivals or Bridgestone RE-71Rs.

I used to put an Opel station wagon up on 2 wheels. VW camper as well!

After 5 years the Fiesta has been a fun car, sorta. Too heavy for 1600 CC, or really needs a 2 liter engine. No grunt at all. Fit and finish a bit iffy. Ford electronics. Very buzzy inside. The torsion beam rear suspension handles well, but is too stiff. Fully IRS in the rear would have been a great improvement. Mileage was never good as advertised. Got great mileage and power on non gasohol gasoline. Are the EPA mileages checked on gasohol or real gasoline? The carpeting is really hard to vacuum. Ford puts that stuff in their up market cars as well. Very fuzzy dirt magnet. Looking forward to trying the 2019 Corolla hatchback. 2 liter engine. 160 HP. Fully independent rear suspension.

One of our former autocross guys is doing micra cup again this year. He says they've been lowered a couple inches since the Calabogie incident. He did pretty good at Mosport and is looking forward to Calabogie but he's never driven the track and they are running the long and short course for the races, so it will be a learning experience!
