Is it me or do Devil Dogs prevent people from breathing and swallowing? I am not a big snake cake eater but I usually end up gagging myself or swallowing a golf ball when I eat these things. Anyone chime in with some feedback please....

As was noted in "Full Metal jacket", in a censor friendly (?) paraphrase, the Almighty loves Marines (Devil Dogs), as they sned so many into the hereafter, so yes, Devil Dogs do prevent many people from beathing, and all that goes with it.

I've found that it's better not to read the labels on food packaging. Sometimes it's better not to know.
