Saw that on a license plate this morning.

Twenty years ago or so I saw a Cadillac Seville with "Trucks" as the license plate. To this day I still am not quite sure why. A local hospital nurse has "BBYNURS" on the license plate.

Never saw the need to pay extra for a vanity license plate.

I paid a little extra (one time) for a DE plate that has a lighthouse on it. I think the extra $$ goes toward lighthouse preservation.

I can put a plate on the front that says anything I want give DE is a single license plate state.

Many years ago my folks put WEE CAD on their honda accord in the late 70's and also had CATARAC on an accord. I had a camaro z28 with Z XXVIII I bought my wife a new super crew and applied for HER FORD and actually got it and when it came it was HERFORD and she refused to take it so I had to pay again for another..have RIDE 1 on my harley...YETI4X4 on my jeep.

Vanity plates are common in NH here. The one that sticks in my mind is EWDAVID for all of the Schitt's Creek fans.

a former co-worker had GUNSLNGR for a while but the state revoked it saying it was offensive...another who is the former Sheriff has NEGNCIC he has had that for like 35 years or longer..

My friend in HS had a 71 elcamino. We took a 300 hp 327 to a local machine shop and got back a 307.

His plate was "DNTRCME".. Don't race me.

Especially since the car now had a 307 in it cause if someone raced him he would lose .

The plates on my 340 duster were "340PASU"

Saw that on a license plate this morning.

In Colorado there is a plate with "Children first" on it. A guy got "Eat the" put on his license plate. Rob pitts got "Band4lfe" banned for life referencing ebay banning his account. He had to tell the dmv it referred to marching band.

Hopefully this won't get political...

Illinois has "B" plates for pickup trucks. The old plates had "B Truck" printed vertically in the right edge of the plate. With the redesign, there's now a red "B" on the right side. I saw someone's vanity plate that read "JAIL J" and it took me a couple of tries before I finally got that the pre-printed "B" is intended to be read as part of the plate and I'm guessing the driver isn't a fan of our current governor...
