Liber-Finer filters

Are they any good? Picked up a couple on clearance from RA for $4 each. These are the chevron filters for MB. Doesn't say where it's made. They look good but you never know about the filter material.

I'm pretty sure Luberfiner is still a brand made by Champion Labs. Should be fine for manufacturer recommended OCI, but probably not for an extended one.

Luberfiners are basic filters. I would pay a few dollars more for a better filter, but that's just the way I roll.

I picked up a few Luberfiner (that IS what you were refering to, isn't it?) filters on RockAuto closeout a few months ago for my Jeep. These would be the Fram ST16 equivalent. While their larger truck and ag filters may be wonderful, these appear to be rebadged E-core filters, also being early E-cores that had the large gaps in the plastic cage. Yes, I'll use them, but it will be during the summer when cold temps are high.

In the heavy duty world, Luberfiner is typically regarded as a lower cost/quality filter.
