Liber-Finer filters

Are they any good? Picked up a couple on clearance from RA for $4 each. These are the chevron filters for MB. Doesn't say where it's made. They look good but you never know about the filter material.
 
Luberfiners are basic filters. I would pay a few dollars more for a better filter, but that's just the way I roll.

I picked up a few Luberfiner (that IS what you were refering to, isn't it?) filters on RockAuto closeout a few months ago for my Jeep. These would be the Fram ST16 equivalent. While their larger truck and ag filters may be wonderful, these appear to be rebadged E-core filters, also being early E-cores that had the large gaps in the plastic cage. Yes, I'll use them, but it will be during the summer when cold temps are high.
