Lexus IS?

I mean with all the Bentley SUV’s I’m seeing in the EU - it’s a trend that’s real (of course Porsche jumped in early) …
Yeah, sure. SUVs became fuel-efficient enough that they are a viable option for the average family and won't break a wallet at the gas station.
And I understand why some companies would get rid of some sedans that are just slow movers. LS was destined to die a long time ago. However IS? I think they had a real chance here. Also, sedans are still very popular in big cities where parking is limited and gas is expensive. But, Toyota, as usual, does not have imagination. They are stuck on their appliance strategy. But soon, a question might arise: why TX? Why GX? Why not just Grand Highlander, or Sequoia? Maybe they are luxurious enough. There is nothing special that Lexus offers over GHL or Sequoia.

Right now they better worry about reputation - they have made millions off that “R” word - and it’s in jeopardy right now …

Probably so - but I know word is out in the LT community and some lifetime buyers are switching brands to tow that boat …
As I said in another topic, they might kill Sequoia with this strategy, and Tundra might not fare better. Their sales numbers are absolutely abysmal, which is evident by the slew of commercials offering 0% APR. Not sure how GX will fare. My neighbor got one, and if that is $110k car, I am Neil Armstrong.
