Lets see the cars!!!!

How many miles?
Does it come to life electrically?

I keep telling people ....it's non-metallic paint you want.
My sister's 1999 was black w/grey interior and was the best looking one in the county except for a perfect fire engine red one.
Yes, another non-metallic finish.
There was a yellow one like yours nearby which wasn't well kept.
I could recognize it by the creased rear bumper. Otherwise, it was a notable XJ.
Yours will look good cleaned off.

From where does this Jeep spew its coolant?
Do you think the water pump has impellors? <meaning: Has the impellor corroded away to nothing?

While bad, losing a wiper arm and a couple of lugs to theft over three years ain't too bad.
Two minutes of vandalism could've wreaked immeasurably more expensive damage.
That's damage, spelled $$$$$$.

Moving the VW along, you say? You're displaying the smart side of sentimentalism.
Don't let it crumble into the earth, or be towed to scrap when the wrong set of circumstances occurs.
Start looking at VW sites and keep your ear to the rail re sales and wants.
Set a timeline.
Who knows? With a lottery win, you could deliver your decrepit one to a rebuilder and drive off with a real chick magnet.

What are the VW's particulars?

My goal is to save up for a new engine and fix this thing and get it back to glory as well as fix our 1994 Ford Econoline too. I want to see these cars get new life and I think dad would be happy as well. Still undecided on the Beetle it needs a full restoration so thinking of letting it go because I just don’t have the means or motivation to fix it.
If this girl can do what she did in 10 days in this video you can fix up all your stuff if not just driving around all the time, lol. This is pretty amazing actually. It's long, but jump around in the video to see some of the wild stuff she does, without any helpers.

Look how she installed the oil drain plug (edit: @42:33).......A BITOG classic.

I loved
how she sprayed the engine bay with the carb uncovered
her replacement carpet choice
her chickens

I was amazed by
the number of loose wires all over the place
after disassembly, it appeared she reused the old piston rings and bearing inserts

That was a new clutch, no?
