Lets see the cars!!!!

It got traded for the Subaru. It just didn't work having two trucks and there was some mechanical issues that were rearing their ugly head and the reason the previous owner traded the truck in...
How are you liking it; how it’s reliability, especially its CVT, what’s you’re take on it?

I like Crosstrek CV the most; Im interested in the next model of Crosstrek, maybe in couple of years

As far as reliability, I'm not sure yet as we just got it the middle of August. So far the maintenance has been done on it, besides spark plugs. I can't physically fit my hands in the drivers side to even get the coil pack, so unfortunately that'll have to be done at a shop. It did get a fuel pump early on in its life. It was a certified used so it has a 84mo/100K mile powertrain warranty and I got a Subaru bumper to bumper 84mo/100K warranty (it wasn't that much). Hopefully any issues will happen within that time.

I actually really like the CVT. It has "shift" points into it so it does have some standard automatic feel, but you know it's a CVT. It seems to always be in the needed powerband. It will go up the steep 10% grade mountain just fine. Subaru makes its own CVT and has been around for some time. Reading online it looks like they've worked the bugs out of it.

For a heavier vehicle it seems to keep hovering around 30mpg with my driving. Not too bad considering it's moving all that AWD stuff around.

I really like it, it's a pretty versatile vehicle. Plenty of interior room and is quiet. The Boxer engine is a little quirky and can be a little noisy, but that's the nature of it. I've yet to drive it in the snow, but it does pretty good in the rain. I suspect it will do better in the lesser amounts of snow/ice than the Tacoma left in 2WD.

Just washed on this fine fall afternoon…

A little before and after. Having the same bolt pattern as a Miata is nice. Instead of buying new tires for the 14" stock steelies, I got 17" Mazda Miata take-offs with like new tires, for less money.

So far I've done the following OE wheel swaps:
- 19" Infiniti G35 Rays on a 2006 Altima.
- 18" Mustang GT wheels on a Infiniti M35.
- 17" Mustang Ecoboost wheels on a 2006 Toyota Camry.
- 17" Jeep Gladiator wheels on 1990 GMC Sierra (in the background of the "after" pic)
- 17" Mazda Miata wheels on a Hyundai Accent

Why? Because take-offs are often very cheap on Craigslist or FB Marketplace, and often come with brand new tires. Looks are improved, and money saved over buying new tires for the stock wheels. Win-win for a cheapskate like me 😂:ROFLMAO:

our grocery getter; now in November it will be full 6 years of ownership; currently @101K miles

I changed its fuel cap thus far, so no light bulls have been replaced since the original purchase

completely fulfilled our expectations!
