I hooked up an outdoor thermostat on my Trane HP. It has to go through a Lennox Fuelmaster 21. The thermostat is set for the Propane furnace to come on at 35 degrees and for the Trane HP to cut off. When it gets to 30 degrees the thermostat shows Auxiliary Heat but only air blows out the vents. Problem is it doesn't work.
I'm thinking I need some additional something or other to satisfy the Fuelmaster 21. I unplugged the jumper that said to unplug if using an outdoor thermostat. Still didn't work. Any ideas?
