legacy/ lincoln grease gun?

Does any body know if the Lincoln grease gun model 1134 is the same as a legacy 1165/1175 pistol grip grease gun? I bought a legacy pro series L1165 a while back. it looks to me that they are the same guns with slightly different specs. is the legacy an import copy of the lincoln 1134?

I bought the legacy one and i had a hard time priming it. I called the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement and that one worked okay. Next time I'll just get a lever operated grease gun so i know it will work.

Has anyone have experience with the lincoln 1134 ?

I had gotten a simple lever one that i know that works.

I still have both of those l1165 grease guns. They both work but the one of them stops working after it gets down to half full. what gives?

I had a cheapo version that did the same. Through it out and bought a Lincoln. Don't know what model but it works great. No comparison in quality. Even the coupler is much better.

well i still have both 1165 legacy grease guns. one works when its warmer out but not in winter temps. i have gotten some lever ones that work more reliably. still thinking in getting a lincoln 1134 pistol grip gun.

Can't answer your question, but the last Lincoln I bought a few years ago was China made and I had to exchange it due to bad threads on the main tube to head area. Grrr...

Alemite has some U.S. made models, but their 500 line is made in China "to their standards".

I have a Lincoln 1134 and haven't had any problems with it. It's a great gun. I do not know if it is the same as a legacy.

I believe my lincoln was made overseas in India and hose made in Germany.
