I have a 09 corolla that uses the 9005 high beam bulb for the DRL bulbs. Just installed led high beam bulbs with a decoder and they seem like the light is full blast. Is that normal? Is that the only way to cancel hyper flash?
LED high beams? I dont get it. Didnt know DRL uses a high beam bulb. My 07 Corolla I installed LED bulbs and they have separate bulb for low beam and high beam and DRL runs off the low beam...never had an issue with anyone flashing me with drl or low beams...

Our van uses the high beam bulbs as DRL's.

Should I just deal with the flicker then? I kind of don't wanna get flashed during the day
Do you want the DRL's? You can usually disable them. That's what I'd do personally.

Some do, some don't. Those that do often run them at a reduced brightness, at least for more ordinary bulb types. The G37 uses an ordinary bulb for DRLs which are not the headlights at all.
