Yes, the maples in the park behind my office began to change last week.

It feels like fall here; the angle of the sun is the only indicator that it is still late summer.

This has been the mildest summer in my memory - even cooler than the 70's when the scientists were whining about another ice age.
 
The squirrels in my area are going gangbusters gathering acorns and stashing them. I've even heard grackles are back as well. That signals fall is here, a few weeks early.
 
I'm starting to see some of the trees here in NE Teas get a little yellow mottling in them. Lenght of day is just as big or a bigger factor as temp. At least where I am, we've already lost over 2 hrs of daylight since the summer solstice.
