Been curious for a long time about using LC 20 in my oil tank in my bassboat. I like the way it has worked for me in my trucks. question is what amount would I use per gallon of oil that is being injected into the motor and being mixed with the gas. the ratio is 50:1 . looking at the LC website it says use ¼ oz. or 10 cc per gallon of Fuel/Oil mix is sufficient for this application. so is this 1/4 oz per gallon of 2 cycle oil ? if that is the case then I would only add 1oz to my 2 gallons of oil that I usually run in my remote oil tank. was also thinking I could do a piston saok to clean off the tops of the pistons then just run the FP 3000 in my gas from there. any suggestions ? I currently run either seafoam or ringfree in the gas.

I add 10 cc per gallon to my gas and then let the injector take care of adding the oil in my 49cc scooter.

I would add the FP to the fuel only and then use your favorite two-cycle oil.
Thanks for the replies everybody. going to get out and fish this week with the FP 3000 in my gas and see how it goes. also did a piston soak with LC20 and was shocked at how much smoke there was when I started it up LOL ! the top of the pistons were not really that dirty but it did clean them up nice.
the real secret of LC20 and other combustion chamber soaks is the softening and removal of ring groove deposits.
lowers ring friction on cyl walls, increases compression, reduces blow by.
all around horsepower increase and less engine wear.
2 cycles including OI have far more ring groove deposits.
also get the added benefit of softening and removal of exhaust port carbon cleaning
most outboard manufactures sell their own concoction of combustion piston ring cleaners.
Berryman B12 and Seafoam are fast for severe cases but FP Plus is my favorite for continuous use in the gas. added benefit of PF keeping the those costly to service marine carbs clean and unplugged.
double the oil mix when using Berrymans of Seafoam to help prevent cyl wall and ring scoring from oil wash down and bare metal against metal
