The catalog
appears to show that the BT238
3/4-16 thread, 4 1/4OD, 7 11/32len, G381-A gasket, AD, HBP (anti-drain, 18-25 PSID High Pressure By-Pass Valve)
Micron Rating: 9.8 Nominal; 27 Absolute
is a spin on match for my 413-1 application.
I could fit a 12" long filter if there was one - before it hit the RV radiator.
Anyone have a critique of this selection before I grab it?
Running 10w-40 oil and good oil pressures.

My thinking was that it would be good full flow much of the time, and, last a while before replacement.

The larger size won't give you more flow, but it will however decrease the delta-p across the filter. And yes, it will longer with the higher holding capacity due to size and increased media area.

They don't give any info at what efficiency that 60u is at. 🤷‍♂️ But I'd say it would probably be worse than the Baldwin.
I do see a Highfil Chinese version claims
Micron Rating3.000 Mi
if you believe it.

This has a list

The Cummins models have more selection due to demand I'm sure.
Here
The MOPAR branded filters are a standard cellulose (paper) filter rated at 35 microns at 98.7% efficiency.
And they have their own thread.

I'm still not seeing a reason to NOT use the BT238
