He had some quick, severe illness.
Two weeks ago at Watkins Glen he radioed his team that he doesn’t feel well during race, and apparently things just went to worse since then.
Really shocking. Only 41.

I was 100% not a fan, but probably respected him the most of anyone. I am in total shock, trying to hold it together at work. I thought it wasn't real, but then I heard Chocolate Myers break down on Sirius.

Wow! That's tragic. When I hear severe illness it makes me wonder if there were underlying problems that weren't known/disclosed.

He won the truck race last week. I can't imagine what takes a healthy 41 year old down so fast. Way too young. RIP, Rowdy Busch.

He was complaining about severe cough. So who knows, infection, sepsis…

Condolences to his family. I was not a fan but admired him for his big-time driving talent and was as competitive as it gets. Huge loss for NASCAR and motorsports.
