I was a Marine store and they had two gallons of Koltz two stroke on clearance. It was marked down from $41 to $29 a gallon. It was Techniplate TCW3, but when I read the back it said for injector or premix and TC rated Jaso and had a FC rating. It was red. I never had any experience with Koltz, I heard it was Great oil. Problem is I also heard it was a biodegradable oil and this stuff, had a 2004 date on it. Now, I would think car oil would be good for 10 to 12 years, but a biodegradable two stroke oil, makes me nervous, maybe for no reason. I would be using it in stock engine Polaris's. I think I could even get it cheaper since its a mom and pop marine store and they probably just want to unload it. Anybody have any experience with Koltz techniplate oils and know if this would be a Great deal or not?
