Cool! Wonder if @Pablo can tell us if this is just repackaged Small Engine series or if that’s proprietary info. Neat to see an OEM working with one of our preferred blenders for some custom products looking at extending OCIs.

At least by specifying the Amsoil source, we can assume it wasn’t Kohler’s intent saying, “let’s figure out minimum requirements to make it past the warranty” lol…

Yes very interesting that they name dropped Amsoil. I wasn't interested in it but found it unique.

Was going to do that, but have a conference call rn. Soon. Interested to how the Kohler kit compares to Amsoil SE & OEM or HPL & FE combos.

Will check out the filter this afternoon.

I remember this being mentioned somewhere. don't remember where but remember this 300 hour interval option. 10w-50 grade is interesting. This is simply a convenience thing. Possibly using Amsoil small engine formula? Good reminder for this product. I wish it said "Extend engine life" though.

I like my 100 hr change and automotive filter deal. I've got way too much of both but I like that Kohler is trying.
I avoid 50wts usually as they zap my ground speed

I just sold my JD LT155 Kohler Command 15 HP for $50... The transmission stopped worky.

It was a Craigslist find that was "Engine locked up". I brought it home and replaced the stuck drive belt... back in action. I got about 25 hours out of it. The wife came in to tell me "Mower won't move". I played with it for a few minutes to realize trans worn out. It didn't have an hour meter & I had it just for a couple years. Minus the lousy plastic hood JD used it was a good mower. Cut well & of course I told the new owner it needed new trans.
