Kit for transmission fluid analysis.

Hello folks,

Planning to change the transmission fluid for 2015 Forester (85K on the odometer) for the first time. I would like to get a sample tested. Which kit should I use?

NAPA has hydraulic fluid kit but its not available.

I checked SpeedDiagnostix, and Amsoil kits but both of them only mention motor oil kits, not too sure if those kits can also be used for the transmission fluids. Blackstone lists transmission fluid but wonder if any specific test along with standard oil testing should be chosen.

Any guidance appreciated.

The Amsoil kit is for Oil or ATF. When you fill out the info form you answer which one it is.

I am interested in this as well. Not sure how it being cvt fluid it will tell the whole story as I don't know if they can test the friction modifiers.
