Was just in here yesterday, 29.99 for 2 jugs. Today it’s 32.99. I was waiting on my yearly rewards coupon to be delivered so I could stock up and the price changed. Son of a *****.
We are in an inflationary cycle (for whatever reason(s). We should post threads on what IS NOT GOING UP.
just checked the price of the oil in my stash, still 0.4$/qt

US average gas prices are up less than a dollar from a year ago ($3.31 for the US average in January 2022 vs. $2.33 January 2021), and less than 50 cents a gallon more than several periods in recent years - October 2018 and May of 2019 ($2.86 for the US average in those months, so 45 cents cheaper than now). The cheap oil in the spring of 2020 was anomalous (but a result of the situation at the time) and the exception to long-run and short-run trends - it was actually the result of drastically reduced demand and other economic issues. $3.50 gas sounds about right in fitting with the trends in the long run, in real dollars.Gas is double in a year. Oil is not far behind. We all know where the blame lies.
I agree that no one should be shocked. Frustrated, yes. Angry, yes. Wishing it were not true, absolutely. Shocked, no. Not at all.Everything is going up,why is this such a shock is beyond me![]()
Gotta lose some weight. Smaller bum, fewer wipes. Save a few trees. You think the price of oil going up is bad, today I bought some wet bathroom wipes for my bum. They used to be $1.99, then went up to $2.19. Today they are $2.39.
After the recent threads regarding the price increase on Supertech oil, this increase on Kirkland should surprise nobody.
We should post threads on what IS NOT GOING UP.
I've been able to greatly average down on latest Walmart pennzoil sale...I'm at under 20 cents per qt. Thanks to last summer's Legendary Great Oil Harvest!
