Kerry's stand on taxes...?

Does John Kerry take a stand on taxes?

From what I read (thanks for some of the links guys), you can't pin the guy down.

Is he like Clinton, anything over $75,000 is "upper level income"?

I know he keeps saying Dean is wrong when Dean says he'll get rid of Bush's tax cuts...but where is Kerry? (I distinctly do not want more taxes!)

I've seen 'clips' showing Kerry saying we "cannot afford the tax reductions" that Pres. Bush wants congress to make permanent. This is a good example of where the voters can have a voice in our being overtaxed. They can retain Bush in office and provide a congress that will cooperate with preventing the proposed tax increases advocated by the Left.

I've heard Kerry say something to the effect that those making over 200K don't need such a tax cut, but that's about all I can say I've actually heard.

I've heard something similar to what Mark said.....he said he would not repeal all Bush tax cuts, just a few. Dean wanted to repeal them ALL!

The tax cuts look good on paper, but you'll start seeing higher local taxes, toll roads, etc. to make up the difference. Bush's irresponsible spending will cost all of us big time. Gotta get the money somewhere. IMO Bush has got to go. I hope the next president focuses on keeping good jobs in this country.

I put the emphasis on WE in the quote. Hopefully you all understand that WE refers to Congress, not the great unwashed citizens.

BTW Kerry will not give anyone his feelings/plans/visions/goals for the country. Those could be attacked. By merely attacking Bush on any given issue it doesn't expose him to any further inconsistancies He already has more than enough. Very smart (but despicable) on his part. If the mainstream media was as hard on him as they are on Predsident Bush-he'd go down in flames in a day.

I always find it interesting when everybody wants to cut their own taxes but don't want to see tax spending in their community cut. Do you think taxes are buried in a big hole or do you think the government spends those taxes in the economy through wages, services, programs?
