Kenworth SAR (Short Australian RHD)

Didn't know until the other day
a) that SAR was an acronym
b) that it's uniquely Australian.

So thought I'd post some pics for the US people.

1975, Kenworth released the SAR onto Australian roads...custom first few made in Melbourne.
Short - traditional truck shape, but with short, sloping hood for "aero" and visibility.

We used to love seeing them on the road.

And they still make them...
