@i6pwr asked for this in another thread so I thought I'd post it here. If you're a professional draftsman or a stickler for proper blueprinting please look away now!

Honestly trepanning that deepest bore is gonna suck. I'd find a way to do this as two pieces, with the large center protrusion (dia 1.295") threading or pressing or even welding into place later.

Nice drawings... thanks for doing that.🍻 Looks like it gives a well pronounced recess for the lip of the seal, but looking at the TC itself it might... (the recess) not be needed? That part I'm unsure of.
I wouldn't think a large impact socket would damage that lip when seating. Also, is the tool designed for installing the seal with the front output shaft in place, and would it matter if the case was apart for rebuilding?

I dunno but I've got by without it before. I think it's just a "nice-to-have" and when it popped up on ebay reasonably I grabbed it.
