Anyone ever use it? I've used their standard syn blend a few times with typically good results of any major SM-rated motor oil.

But, it is on sale at a Buffalo (and some other places in the Northeast?) hardware chain called Value for $2.99 a QT, which seems frankly like a value...

The Kendall GT-1 syn blend was $1.80 (last week, sales over).

Great oil man. I think that it is the same as Motorcraft and Trop Artic. If it is SM rated then it is good for at least 5K miles.

They are not the same. Motorcraft is essentially 100% a Ford spec'd blend from what I can find. Conoco/phillips66 has nothing to do with the makeup other than blending it as Ford requests.

I haven't had a chance to compare Kendall to TropArtic, but I dont think there is a 5w20 version of tropartic. So, I probably never will compare them.
