Good morning folks. Please keep my oldest nephew Jacob in your thoughts and prayers. Been kinda sickly since Christmas and may have C Diff

Clostridium difficile Infection.

A quick glance at one info-site said he's likely to clear up within "2-3 days after ceasing the antibiotic which caused it in the first place".

I know thumbnail descriptions of diseases can be maddening but the killing off of good bacteria with the bad was repeatedly alluded to.

Hope the kid (?) recovers. A lot seemed focused on patients' bowels. What happened?

He had been throwing up and diarrhea since Christmas time frame. Not sure what brought it on and he’s 6 years old

Will do. There's a bitog member that had C Diff, took time to diagnose. Ultimately did and were able to get him the antibiotics he needed. If C Diff hopefully docs will get your nephew antibiotics needed and feeling better soon.
