Karcher pressure washer leaking?

Have a Karcher 1800 psi electric pressure washer. It is maybe four years old and only gets used 5 or 6 times per year. Normally when you press the trigger the pump engages, but now the pump engages for about a second, then disengages for a second, over and over continuously. There is also water coming from the bottom of the pressure washer.

My guess is the pump is on its way out. Can these be replaced?

If not I'll probably just use it until it doesn't work anymore (it functions fine) and then get one with a gas engine.

The unloader is most likely toast. or a cracked pump. Might be time for a new one.

Every electric pressure washer pump I have ever seen has a sealed, non rebuildable pump. You basically throw away the unit and buy a new one.

Thanks guys. I'll run it until it died and then get a gas engine one. Maybe a Generac.
